About Your Trainer
Hi there! I’m Ashley Hart, a dedicated advocate for you and your dog. I’ve worked with dogs of every age, breed, and size, and if there is one thing I can share, it is that every dog and every situation is unique. My business is inspired by my own dog, Roux, a Puerto Rican street dog I adopted as a senior pup. She taught me how to meet a dog in the middle, understand their needs, and build real communication. I bring that same compassion and problem-solving to every client I work with.

We offer private lessons, one-on-one training for you and your dog either in-person or virtually, small group classes with specialized curriculums held at Good Choice Dog Training in Albany, NY, and day training, where a professional trainer works directly with your dog and then shows you how to maintain the progress at home.
Reflective Dog Training follows the Fear Free mission and the Pet Professional Guild's Guiding Principles. Ashley is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, qualified to teach and evaluate CGC tests, and a Judge for other AKC sports including AKC Fetch.
During your free discovery call, you'll have the chance to ask about our services and get guidance on next steps. Calls typically take 10 to 15 minutes.
In-person dog training is available across New York's Capital Region, including Albany, Averill Park, Ballston Spa, Burnt Hills, Charlton, Clifton Park, Colonie, Delmar, Latham, Glenville, Halfmoon, Malta, Niskayuna, Rexford, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, and Troy. We may be able to travel outside this area for an additional fee.
Yes, virtual dog training is available nationwide.
